I was looking into a Forex broker hiring sales reps to drum up new accounts. Of course, you are making 100 – 150 cold calls a day probably from their office. My question is: does anybody make money doing this? The site advertises $100K + yearly (commission only) for average producers. I realize there’s probably a lot of calling involved to get enough sales to make 100K, but my question is how realistic is it? Anybody here have experience as an outbound investments solicitor? (forex/metals/stocks)? There are many of these places popping up. Maybe their chop shops? Maybe not. But there has to be a reason they’re opening their doors and expanding. Is the money real or are they bringing you in for another reason?
